Purpose

The AOMI Scholarship scheme of the Summit School of Destiny (A School of The Spirit) is based on demonstrated interest in pursuing learning and education in the school and inability to do so without support or aid. It is established basically for the benefit of students who need financial aid to assist them to attend and participate in the Bible School.

Eligibility

The Summit School of Destiny Scholarship scheme is missionary, youth (unemployed youth of 18 to 21 years old) and circumstance-based. Other general considerations for scholarship may also apply. Recommendation by Spiritual authority of the students attesting to their interest and inability to meet up their obligations will also be considered. Applicants who work and earn above a prescribed and specified income may not be eligible for consideration.

Guidelines

Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and no student who has enjoyed any prior scholarship or sponsorship will be entitled to further scholarship. Applications for scholarship shall be made to the School authorities whose Committee shall screen applicants and make recommendations to the Proprietor of the school who takes the final decision on approved applicants based on established guidelines. The application shall be through a prescribed form. Students who have been awarded scholarships will be expected to complete the School and make sure they justify the award.

Committee

The Scholarship Committee shall comprise of persons to be appointed by the Proprietor of the School.

Sponsorship

The Scholarship Committee shall be responsible for recommending deserving students for sponsorship.

Amount

Each scholarship awarded will either be for the payment of part of the fees or for the full fees.

Renewal

This scholarship is for one session and is not renewable.

  • How undertaking a program at the Summit School of Destiny will benefit you.
